C.A.T. Did Blog Survey

I was surprisingly tagged by Greg @ The De-evolution of Man to do this survey, which surprisingly consists of 19 questions. (Yup, 19.) So here are my answer for that survey and below are 4 unsuspecting bloggers whom I tag for this survey.

1. Dieter Moitzi @ Confessions of a Wannabe Writer

2. Eric Edelman @ Retro Collage

3. Lainy @ Lainy's Musings

4. Russ @ Vintage Fun for All

(To read my answers and the questions for you whom I have tagged, please read after the break.)

1. If you have pets, do you see them as merely animals, or are they members of your family?
I don’t own pets anymore, but I used to have cats when I was a little kid and they were surely more than just pets for me. I always treated them as equal mammals.

2. If you can have a dream to come true, what would it be?
I wanna have my own farm! That’s right, I dream to have a land of my own in some rural area, build my own farm, hide from city crowd and noise, plant and grow my own food, and create some creative works of my own.

3. What is the one thing most hated by you?
Greed (which then comes into being in the idea of power, the concept of politic and economy)! I believe that greed is the source of all chaos and shits in this world. Then again, apparently greed is "integral" to human beings and our world wouldn’t exist without politics and economy, so a peaceful world is nothing but a utopia.

4. What would you do with a billion dollars?
Maybe I should have it first, then I’ll now what to do with it.
Seriously, I never imagine it. But maybe I would use it build my own farm. And the rest? I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it.

5. What helps to pull you out of a bad mood?
From my experiences, it seems that nothing can pull me out of a bad mood. When the bad mood hits, I become proof against everything; musics, comics, movies, conversations, anything. All I can do is go with it and wait until a little bright something comes in.

6. Which is more blessed, loving someone or being loved by someone?
This is a tough one. Err…Both are blessed and it sounds selfish to have one without the other. And that’s my final answer.

7. What is your bedtime routine?
Reading until my eyes can’t take it anymore.

8. If you are currently in a relationship, how did you meet your partner?
Pass. (I’m not in a relationship now.)

9. If you could watch a creative person in the act of the creative process, who would it be?
It could be Cobain, or Lennon, or Burton, or Alex Ross, or Tolkien. But if I really have to choose one, I think it will be John Ronald Reuel Tolkien.
I’m a big fan of Lord of the Rings and I really want to see the creation process of the story and, which is more important and interesting for me, how he invent the world of Middle Earth, the races, and the languages.

10. What kinds of books do you read?
Any kind. Mostly novels and comics (they are comic BOOKS, right?), but I also read non-fictions as long as the subject is of my interest.

11. How would you see yourself in ten years time?
Grown old and Homer-like. (That’s also my idea for the title of my work, if I ever make one.)
Feels like I’m getting more and more silly these days, and I imagine (but hopefully it won’t come true), that I’ll end up like Homer.

12. What’s your fear?
I’m a musophobia, I really, really hate rats. (Okay, that because I’m afraid of rats.) They are disgusting! They are disgrace of mammal race! They are…Oh, not that kind of fear. Sorry.
Okay, my biggest fear is losing enthusiasm or passion. In anything. Because without any enthusiasm, I think I’ll be useless, worthless, unproductive, and having a meaningless life.

13. Would you give up all junk food for the rest of your life for the opportunity to visit outer space?
Sure. The chance to visit outer space is one in a million; the only problem is I think my body couldn't endure all the G force to get to the outer space. But if they come with something to eliminate that problem, then I’m all in for that trip. Besides, I’m not a big fan of junk food, though I’m a food junkie (which means I could eat almost anything.)

14. Would you rather be single and rich or married, but poor?
I’m not dreaming of being rich. Really. Well, at least not THAT RICH. But if I’m married, off course I would do anything so we won’t be poor.

15. What’s the first thing you do when you wake up?
Suffering, whining, and cursing from sour, dry throat and nasal because of all the cigarettes I had the night before. Then, after the bathroom business, make my first cup of coffee and light my first cigarette of the day.

16. If you could change one thing about your spouse/partner what would it be?
Seeing the fact that there’s no partner at this time, I guess the one that needs some changes is me.

17. If you could pick a new name for yourself, what would it be?
The name of this blog. Or this one, Astashiva.

18. Would you forgive and forget no matter how horrible a thing that special someone has done?
I’m not a grudging or hating kind, so I tend to forget, though I’m not sure I really forgive. It’s just too much to keep something like that in my mind.

19. If you could only eat one thing for the next 6 months, what would it be?
I would eat any thing for any period of time as long as I could have my coffee, my books, and my cigarettes (I’m an avid smoker, not something to be proud of I know).
