Part 2 of To Love Somebody Cover Versions

Janis Joplin’s version is part of her album, "I Got Dem Ol' Kozmic Blues Again Mama!", released in 1969. You've gotta love that amazing voice of hers. What a powerful blues rendition.

A haunting, grim electronic version of "To Love Somebody" by Billy Corgan, featuring Robert Smith of The Cure. It was released in his solo album, The Future Embrace.

Nina Simone recorded and released it as a single in 1969. The tempo and beat in the studio version is more similar to Bee Gees version, but in this live performance, she slowed it down into a gorgeous soul-ballad.

It’s a full-disco version by Moulin Rouge (Alvin Fields, Stephanie Spruill, Julia Tillman and Lorna M. Willard) for their 1979 self titled LP.

Hope you enjoyed it. You may share it if you like.
